256GB Black iPod Classic 5th Generation

MP3’s have been around a long time now and if you love music then the chances are you may of run out of space on your mp3 player. The whole allure of them was to have all your music available in a portable device. We are delighted to be able to provide you with this again with the 256GB iPod Classic.

This iPod has been upgraded with Flash memory. Flash memory is superior to the traditional HDD used in Apple iPods. As if has no moving parts is quicker and more reliable. This results in a smoother interface (necessary when the capacity is so large!), increased reliability and durability (it is lees likely to break if dropped as it has no moving pieces). It also extends the battery life as it no longer requires the power that the traditional HDD needed to run. There is about 238GB available for media storage due to formatting and system files.

The reason we used a 5th Gen iPod is two fold, these iPods are the best sounding as they use the Wolfson DAC (is the well known audiophile loved DAC chip, much better than the 7th gen chip- just Google it!), which results in a superior sound quality than the more recent models. Secondly... they look ace!

This iPod has been fitted with a brand new battery (so it will last years to come) and we have tested it and it lasts over 18 hours (this is music playback, if used for video then this will be reduced). This iPod has been refurbished with premium, high quality parts. There is however, some small slight scratches on the front, these are only visible in certain light.

This is the 80GB version of the iPod 5 and has 80GB on the back, however the capacity is higher, just see the pics for proof. It provides a alternative to the current iPod classic and the new Pono (which do not provide this size of storage), the increased capacity enables you to use Apples Lossless Audio Files (the highest quality) and store a large amount of them! It is over 90GB larger than any iPod previously manufactured.

The iPod comes with a USB charging/sync cable.
